CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
I was raised in mid-Missouri and grew up participating in baseball, football, and bowling. I battled weight gain through my early adolescent and teen years. Around the time I graduated high school, I decided to embark on a massive weight loss journey. By the time I obtained my associate degree, I lost over 100 pounds. After my first two years in college, I joined the Missouri National Guard and continued my education at the University of Missouri. During that time, I really focused on my health and wellness and found a sustainable “middle ground” with my nutrition. Post weight loss, health, and fitness became my primary personal hobby. I walked into my first CrossFit gym in my late twenties. My goal was to increase my health beyond more than just weight loss. There, I felt like I had a community of people I could share my personal journey with and assist them with theirs along the way. Since beginning my CrossFit journey in 2019, I have achieved everything I’ve ever wanted physically and more. I’m continuously surprised at what the sport of CrossFit brings to my life, and I’m excited to share my passion with those around me.
I am driven by growth. I love seeing people achieve the impossible and reach their goals. I enjoy learning new things and sharing what I have learned with others. Life is about simultaneously receiving and giving ideas, knowledge, and tools for success, and CrossFit is a great community to foster this reciprocating relationship. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to coach CrossFit. I’m very enthusiastic and I love meeting new people. I want to continue to grow my personal fitness and use my knowledge and experience to help the greater CrossFit community. If you ever see me in the gym, feel free to share your personal story with me, and pick my brain about all things nutrition and fitness.
